Why Feral Cats Are Pests

Feral cats are a big pest because, they kill native birds. 

Feral cats are completely wild. 

Feral cats hunt they do not find scraps like strays do. 

There are millions of cats in New Zealand alone. 

They are a real pest.

The long tailed bat

 On Friday me and my class made slides about NZ🌍 native animals. My slide was about long tailed bats🦇 I did lots of research on lots of different sites to get different information, did you know that all bats make high pitched noises witch humans can't hear.👂

After we had got our slides done⌚ we thought about creative ways to present our work. My creative way of presenting was a triorama, witch is a triangle box with a scene inside and a flap of information🔤, I think that mine looks really cool.👍

What Good Are Wings Without the Courage To Fly?

On Friday it was pink shirt day, me and my class made four pink feathers each. Later in the day my teacher made the feathers into wings so that we can stand in front of them and look like angels. Above the wings my teacher wrote 'what good are wings without courage to fly'  it sounds weird but has a lot of meaning when you think about it.

What good are wings without courage to fly means to me....

You may have a talent but you need to be brave enough to use it, another way of saying it is, you don't know if you have a talent if you don't try to do it. You may be wondering what is pink shirt day well I will explain to you. Pink shirt day aka anti bullying day is a day to were we all were pink, in the old days if a boy wore pink he would be bullied and picked on. Now do you know what pink shirt day is.

Pohutukawa Perfection

Me and my class made pohutukawa art. I found it, really hard to get the size right. First we did a draft of it then we used black pastel to outline then we used white to highlight. After we had outlined our work we used red and green dye I had lots of fun making our artwork cool, we all thought it would be boooooring but it was very fun. I think that my art looks very good. Everyone's art looked unique, I love pohutukawa art.

All about Kristyna

Hello my name is Kristyna I love the color orange. My favourite animal is a bunny and I love shpageti bolinas. I am eight years old, I live in New Zealand my school is pompallier catholic school I have no pets but really want one. I play with lego a lot and  I have a smaller brother and sister who can sometimes be very annoying!

Dear Mr and Mrs lovey dovey. 

Are you still lovey doveying around? is your son old enough to start his own family? I am writing to tell you that your all in a story, also why aren't there any other teachers to save the children and stop you crying so much? You should get some proper cloths to wear,not that using curtains isn't recycling and mothers sewing your cloths isn't cute,did you happen to have another baby called Humbert or Stacey, because there in a book to. My school term

 My school term was fun because, it was my first time playing soccer. I was in the warriors it was a good team. Today I will tell you all about my soccer experience.  

I wasn't very good at first but I got very good. Soccer is a fun winter sport that lots of kids do. I love soccer its so fun to kick the ball around the field.
